According to the staff, the pool water here can maintain the standards of international competitions all year round and even reach the drinking level. In order to maintain such water quality, according to the experience of similar venues, the water in the swimming pool should be replaced once a week, but in the swimming pool of the Olympic Sports Center, the water here can not be changed all year round. The mystery comes from a 24-hour uninterrupted water circulation system. We are now at the bottom of the swimming pool, and these more than 10 large tanks around me constitute the filtration, disinfection and decomposition system of organic matter in the swimming pool. If the swimming pool is compared to the human body, where we are now is equivalent to its kidney. The water coming here through the outlet of the swimming pool wall will pass through seven levels here. This is the first level, the hair collector. As the name implies, large impurities like hair will be filtered out in this bucket in front of us. The second level is the diatomite filter tank, in which 310 filter rods are distributed, and diatomite with finer touch than flour is adsorbed on the rods. The combination of the two can make the filtering accuracy as fine as 1~2 microns, and the suspended solids in the water invisible to the naked eye and parasites that cannot be killed by conventional disinfection can be filtered out in this tank.
After that, the water will be disinfected by ozone filter tank and urea decomposition tank to remove the sweat and other components left in the water. Before returning to the swimming pool, the water will also pass through automatic heaters, dynamic monitoring equipment for water quality and sodium hypochlorite generators. In this way, the process of going back and forth to the swimming pool continues every minute during the non-competition period.

Through the mobile terminal, now, information such as water quality data can be obtained at any time by the staff on the mobile phone, and at the same time, the filtering equipment can be switched on and off on the mobile terminal according to the real-time situation of water quality. According to the staff of the venue, with this filtration system, the venue can save 90,000 tons of water every year, which is equivalent to providing 4,000 people with water for one year.
