At the meeting, the General Secretary of the Supreme Leader emphasized that the development of big data is changing with each passing day. We should size up the situation, carefully plan, advance the layout and strive for initiative, deeply understand the current situation and trend of big data development and its impact on economic and social development, analyze the achievements and existing problems in China’s big data development, promote the implementation of the national big data strategy, accelerate the improvement of digital infrastructure, promote the integration and open sharing of data resources, ensure data security, accelerate the construction of digital China, and better serve China’s economic and social development and the improvement of people’s lives.

此次,北京理工大学副校长、中国科学院院士梅宏就习总书记这个问题作了讲解,并谈了意见和建议。
据中国科学院网站了解到,梅宏院士是计算机软件专家,主要从事软件工程和系统软件领域的研究,并在构件化软件中间件、开发方法学和工具环境等方面取得了系列成果。曾于1984和1987年分别于南京航空学院获学士和硕士学位,1992年于上海交通大学获博士学位。2011年当选为中国科学院院士,2013年当选发展中国家科学院院士。梅宏院士曾获国家技术发明二等奖、国家科技进步二等奖、教育部自然科学一等奖等。
就在今年10月杭州·云栖大会上,梅宏教授率团代表北京理工大学,联合阿里云、北京大学、中国人民大学,重磅发布大数据系统软件国家工程实验室研发成果——数据科学家云上工作室,为数据科学家提供“管家服务”。

At that time, it was clearly positioned to build a big data system software innovation platform to solve the problem of insufficient open source innovation of big data system software in China.
Mei Hong also introduced the characteristics of the cloud studio of data scientists at the Yunqi Conference in Hangzhou, that is, a one-stop platform with learning and use, zero operation and maintenance, and covering the whole life cycle. Compared with the software learning and deployment of traditional workstations from several weeks to several months, the studio on the cloud has contracted the technical "manual work" for users to carry out core business, that is, start-and-use and second-level billing, and can carry out its own big data analysis business in a few hours at the earliest.
Undoubtedly, the era of big data has arrived, and the industrial value it can bring is immeasurable. Throughout the world, although China has 14% of the global data, the utilization rate of data is less than 0.4%, and a large amount of data has not played its due role.
In the next few years, with the completion of a number of innovation platforms in the field of big data, 13 national big data laboratories will have their own achievements in different fields, providing support and services for related technological innovations in the field of big data.
