These important expositions profoundly show that to promote the theoretical innovation of the Party, we must adhere to the people first, further deepen the regular understanding of the theoretical innovation of the Party, and provide a fundamental basis for continuing to promote the theoretical innovation based on practice.
Always stand firm in the people’s position of theoretical innovation
The people are the greatest strength and the deepest foundation of our party’s governance. Taking the people as the center is the fundamental position of our party, and it is also the position that our party must always stand firm in promoting theoretical innovation.
The proper meaning in the title of Marxist theory. Marxism is a theory that speaks for and speaks for the people. It was founded to change people’s destiny and enriched and developed in the practice of people’s liberation. Different from the ideological theory that capitalist society reflected and served the interests of the bourgeoisie in various ways in the past, Marxism explored the road of human freedom and liberation from the standpoint of the overwhelming majority of the people at the beginning, and took the elimination of exploitation and oppression in human society, the elimination of social injustice and irrationality, the full liberation of mankind, and the establishment of an ideal society without oppression, exploitation, equality and freedom for all as its goal. The party’s theoretical innovation is to adhere to the theoretical innovation of Marxism, which inevitably requires a firm stand of the people.
The inevitable requirement of the nature and purpose of the party. As a Marxist political party, the Communist Party of China (CPC) is the vanguard of the working class in China, as well as the people of Chinese and the Chinese nation. Serving the people wholeheartedly is the fundamental purpose of the party and never represents the interests of any interest group, any power group or any privileged class. Promoting theoretical innovation is the historical mission and important activity of the party. We must adhere to the nature and purpose of the party, persist in taking the people as the center, and seek benefits and well-being for the people.
The party’s fine traditions and valuable experience. Being born for the people, prospering for the people, always being with the people and striving for the people’s interests are the fundamental starting point and foothold of our party. Standing firmly on the people’s stand is the consistent requirement of the party’s theoretical innovation, and it is also a powerful driving force to promote the party’s theoretical innovation. Looking back on the party’s struggle for more than a hundred years, our party has always been deeply rooted in the people, paying close attention to their sufferings and expectations, constantly reflecting their will and interests, constantly innovating and developing the party’s theory, and forming theoretical innovations that meet the needs of the people and keep pace with the times.
Pay attention to drawing theoretical innovation wisdom from people’s creative practice.
The General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out: "People’s nature is the essential attribute of Marxism, the Party’s theory comes from the people, for the people and for the benefit of the people, and the people’s creative practice is an inexhaustible source of theoretical innovation." People are the creators of history, creating not only material wealth, but also spiritual wealth. All spiritual wealth, including theoretical innovation achievements, is rooted in the practical activities of the people, leaving the production practice and life practice of the people, and any spiritual creation is bound to become passive water and rootless wood.
There is great wisdom and strength among the masses. The people are the main force in all walks of life, in the front line of production and life, with rich professional knowledge, the most sensitive, deepest and most intelligent perception of practical changes, and they are real heroes. As long as we go among the people, many puzzling questions will be suddenly enlightened and answers will be found. The practice of the masses is the most abundant and vivid practice. The people are not only a vast sea of strength, but also a vast sea of wisdom. Marx and Engels pointed out that historical activities are the cause of the masses, and with the deepening of historical activities, it is bound to expand the ranks of the masses. During the revolutionary war, the people created such forms of war as "tunnel warfare", "mine warfare", "sabotage warfare" and "sparrow warfare", which made important contributions to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the victory of the revolution. After the founding of New China, grassroots governance models such as "Maple Bridge Experience" created by the people have contributed wisdom to social governance in China. Since the new era, the people’s subjective consciousness has been continuously enhanced, and the people’s wisdom has been constantly generate, which has provided a steady stream of "living water" for the party’s theoretical innovation in the new era. It can be said that the achievements of the modernization of Marxism in China are all the crystallization of the practical experience and collective wisdom of the Party and the people.
Theoretical innovation must follow the Party’s mass line in the new era. The mass line is the lifeline and fundamental working line of our party, an important heirloom for our party to maintain its youthful vitality and combat effectiveness, and an effective way for the party’s theoretical innovation. General Secretary of the Supreme Leader stressed: "As long as we keep close contact with the people, often go deep into the people, rely on them closely, sincerely worship the people as teachers, sincerely learn from them, and humbly ask them for advice, we can get a steady stream of practical strength and theoretical wisdom." Investigation and research is an effective form of implementing the mass line and an inevitable requirement of promoting the party’s theoretical innovation. Only by adhering to the mass line, persisting in investigation and research, consciously worshiping the people as teachers, seeking advice from the capable and the wise, can we find problems, grasp the essence and find out the laws, and then we can continuously promote the party’s theoretical innovation.
Theoretical innovation should be good at summarizing and refining the practical experience of the people. The General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out: "We should respect the people’s initiative, pay attention to summing up fresh experiences from people’s creative practice, upgrade to rational understanding, refine new theoretical achievements, and strive to make the party’s innovative theory penetrate into the hearts of hundreds of millions of people and become a theory that is grounded, gathers people’s wisdom, conforms to public opinion and wins the hearts of the people." The practical experience of the people can only produce innovative theoretical results if it is systematically processed, refined and summarized and upgraded to rational understanding. Comrade Deng Xiaoping pointed out that "many things in the reform and opening up were put forward by the masses in practice". "The invention right of household contract system in rural areas belongs to farmers", "We use it for processing and improvement as a national guide". To promote the party’s theoretical innovation, we must closely contact with the creative practice of hundreds of millions of people, respect the people’s dominant position and initiative, draw inspiration from the people’s insights for theoretical innovation and practical innovation, profoundly summarize and deeply process the rich experience formed by the people in practice, make new generalizations, gain new understanding and form new achievements.
Insist on using the party’s innovative theoretical achievements to benefit the people
Theory comes from people’s practice, and at the same time, it in turn guides practice, serves the people and benefits them. Only by constantly benefiting the people and solving the practical problems of the people can the theoretical achievements of the Party’s innovation show its value and significance.
Insist on arming the whole party and educating the people with the party’s innovative theoretical achievements. Marx pointed out: "Of course, the weapon of criticism cannot replace the criticism of weapons, and material power can only be destroyed by material power;" But once the theory has mastered the masses, it will also become a material force. " It is of great significance to arm the whole Party and educate the people with the innovative theoretical achievements of the Party, so as to improve the theoretical level and mental state of the masses in party member. The Supreme Leader’s New Era Socialism with Chinese characteristics Thought is contemporary China Marxism and 21st century Marxism, which has opened up a new realm of Marxism China modernization. We should persistently deepen the theoretical armed forces, consciously observe the new situation, study the new situation and solve new problems with the Supreme Leader’s Socialism with Chinese characteristics Thought in the new era, and make all work move in the right direction and in accordance with objective laws. Insist on solving the problems of people’s concern with the achievements of the party’s innovative theory. All theories divorced from the people are pale and powerless, and all theories that do not benefit the people are lifeless. Only by constantly reflecting people’s voices and demands, paying attention to people’s new demands, and solving people’s urgent problems, can the Party’s innovative theoretical achievements better guide practice, promote development, serve the people and benefit the people. We should adhere to the problem orientation, enhance the awareness of problems, face up to the problems that the people care about, use the Party’s innovative theory to study and solve outstanding problems that need development, are urgent for reform, are expected by the grassroots and are desired by the people, give solutions, and show the truth power of the Party’s innovative theoretical achievements.
Insist on letting the party’s innovative theory "fly into the homes of ordinary people." If the Party’s innovative theoretical achievements are to educate the people, transform them into the thoughts and will of the broad masses, and transform them into powerful social practice forces, they must be popularized and loved by the people. General Secretary of the Supreme Leader pointed out in the Party’s Report to the 20th CPC National Congress that we should stand firm on the people’s stand, grasp the people’s wishes, respect the people’s creation, and concentrate the people’s wisdom, so as to form a theory that the people love, agree with and own, and make it a powerful ideological weapon to guide the people to understand and transform the world. Insisting on arming the people and benefiting the people with the achievements of the Party’s innovative theory, we must make great efforts in scientific and physical interpretation, academic expression and popular communication, handle the relationship between adapting to the masses and leading them, thoroughly explain the theory, bring fresh ideas to life, strive to build a grounded, lively and attractive public discourse system, build a bridge between scientific theory and the people, and let the Party’s innovative theory "fly into the homes of ordinary people".
