Hao yang drove for half an hour from Jinlongshan Ski Resort, and after five kilometers of narrow hardened roads and five kilometers of rugged mountain roads, he arrived at the home of Group 7 in Wuxing Village. These are three tile-roofed houses with white tiles. In front of the house is a spacious courtyard. An agricultural tractor is parked in the courtyard, and there is a barn at the door, with more than 20 cows and more than 20 horses.

Yang Jinfu and his wife usually farm at home, with 230 mu of land at home. Farming is the main source of income at home. In recent years, the market of cattle and horses is not good. With more than 200 acres of corn fields, the family can earn about 100,000 yuan a year. Hao yang has been trained in skiing for eight years, and has not been able to participate in international competitions. Since taking part in domestic competitions in 2018, and winning the steeplechase championship in the national freestyle skiing championship in 2021-2022, hao yang has been temporarily established by the Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and has a fixed income, but it is not enough to achieve economic independence, and his daily expenses still need family support. In July last year, during the intermission of Inner Mongolia team training, hao yang chose to go to Chengdu for training at his own expense, and calculated the expenses of transportation, accommodation and air cushion venue in advance. He asked his father for 100,000 yuan, which was the biggest expense of his family in recent years. In order to save money, hao yang rented a house and cooked by himself every day. This year, hao yang became the official staff, with a fixed income of 6,000 yuan per month, and the burden on his parents was finally lightened.
In 2018, 13-year-old hao yang made a mistake in training and was injured when he landed. Parents were very distressed when they learned about it. Yang Jinfu advised him not to practice any more, but hao yang insisted on continuing, and Yang Jinfu could only compromise and continue to support his son silently. In fact, as early as 2016, Zhalantun Amateur Sports School went to Woniuhe Mingde Primary School to select materials. hao yang, who was outstanding in track and field, was selected to practice skiing. hao yang, who had never skied before, decided to enter the sports school to try this sport that made him curious. At that time, Yang Jinfu was reluctant, but in the end he followed the children’s choice. Over the years, hao yang has sweated, and his training has also brought injuries. Now he has stood on the highest podium of the All Winter Games, and his efforts have been rewarded.

Hao yang, who left his hometown at the age of 11, went to Xinjiang for training as a foreign trainer in 2016. "Many players are transferred from other (related) projects. There are some foundations. I started from scratch." Hao yang recalled that at that time, he had to start from the most basic somersault training, and after more than a year of basic training, he started skiing training.
"In the winter of 2019, I had the opportunity to train at the air-cushion ski resort in Orson Park in Beijing, which was an important turning point for me." It took hao yang seven days to complete the left two-week off-axis turns 1080 and 1260 for the first time. Previously, he could only learn these moves by watching videos of foreign players. Later, when he was training in Changbai Mountain, he completed this action on the real snow trail again, which attracted the attention of the national team coach. In the winter of 2019, hao yang was selected into the national training team.
Hao yang admits that he is not a talented player, but his attitude towards training and his endurance exceed that of most people. "Every time I train, I take the time to get on the cable car. Every time I go up and down the mountain, I save a few minutes, and I can skate more than others every day."

After embarking on the road of professional training, hao yang can only go home for one or two months during the spring break every year. In the past two years, I have seen my parents getting older. Every time he goes home, his heart is sour. He will take the initiative to help his father do some farm work during the spring sowing, but Yang Jinfu is always reluctant to let his son do heavy work.
"Since I have chosen this road, I will definitely stick to it." Hao yang said that his dream is to win glory for his country at the Olympic Games, but he needs to have enough points to participate in the Winter Olympics. To get these points, he needs to go abroad constantly. For him who has never participated in an international competition at present, everything is still unknown.
After the reunion dinner, hao yang will return to the team that night, and go to Changbai Mountain to prepare for the next event after the all-winter meeting, and move forward step by step.
