By 2020, the revenue of big data-related products and services will exceed 1 trillion yuan, and the compound annual growth rate will remain around 30%.
With the advancement of informatization, data has become an important resource. At present, big data is widely used in life. For example, map software uses it to measure congested road sections to prompt travel, and shopping software uses it to analyze consumers’ preferences for precise marketing. In the field of home care, children’s smart watches with safe positioning and other functions are also popular in the market. In 2016, the total annual sales of 360 children’s watches reached 1.82 million units. Up to now, the total mileage of guarding children has reached 2.38 billion kilometers.
However, in industrial production, especially in promoting intelligent manufacturing and industrial transformation and upgrading, the application capability of big data needs to be improved. For example, accurately sensing user needs through big data to improve R&D efficiency; Use big data monitoring to optimize assembly line operation and strengthen fault prediction and management; Use big data to improve management efficiency and decision-making level, and realize the intelligence of business activities.
Some big data companies have tried first and laid out their industrial applications. Inspur Group launched its big data market last year. At present, Inspur Enterprise Big Data has been applied to China Grain Storage, China Energy Conservation and other enterprises to provide accurate data analysis and management. Among them, Inspur built a big data platform for intelligent grain depots for China Grain Storage, and realized intelligent warehousing and decision-making.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the future, big data will be applied in the whole process of industrial production. On the one hand, it will greatly improve the efficiency of internal operation and management of enterprises; on the other hand, it will develop personalized customization based on big data to enhance the intelligence and flexibility of manufacturing processes.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will also build a "double innovation" platform for big data of manufacturing enterprises to cultivate new technologies, new formats and new models. In particular, it is necessary to use big data to promote the transformation, upgrading and development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
