The big screen of the command center of Chongming Public Security Bureau in Shanghai shows that the traffic flow of the downstream line of the Yangtze River Bridge is 3,900 vehicles per hour, and the vehicles on the main deck appear to slow down for about 2 kilometers, and the speed is maintained at 30 kilometers per hour.
The traffic control department predicts that the peak of return traffic will last until midnight today. At present, the additional police force in Shanghai has carried out orderly flow control and diversion work at key confluence points such as G40 Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway, Changxing Island Service Area and Chen Hai Toll Gate to prevent the rapid surge of traffic flow. In addition, the traffic police in Shanghai are still using drones to carry out air patrols at key sections to find accidents in time, quickly handle rapid evacuation and minimize the impact of accidents on normal driving.
