In the early morning, the white sea of clouds enveloped the Brown cottage. In a valley rainforest, silver pheasants and pheasants were leisurely foraging in the forest. According to bird experts, both silver pheasant and pheasant are chicken-shaped birds, which belong to the second-class protected animals in the country. However, there is usually a struggle between food and habitat, and it is rare to photograph them living in harmony.
Mangba Brown Shanzhai is located on the east bank of Lancang River and on the edge of Nuozhadu Nature Reserve. The climate here is pleasant and the forest vegetation is good. In particular, more than 40 century-old banyan trees at the entrance of the village have attracted many parrots and rare birds to breed and inhabit here. In addition, the villagers here love and protect birds. In recent years, by building artificial bird ponds and feeding them properly when food is scarce in winter, there are now more than 200 species of birds here, attracting many photographers to watch and shoot birds.
