Natural Medicine Branch of Beijing Integrative Medicine Society was established.

In order to promote the high-quality development of health care, promote the inheritance and innovation of natural medicine, and meet the growing health needs of the people, on May 18, the inaugural meeting of the Natural Medicine Branch of Beijing Integrated Medical Association and the first symposium on "Little Tangshan Great Health" were held in Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital. Ye Xiaomin, member of the Party Committee and deputy director of Beijing Municipal Health and Health Commission, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Ji Xunming, academician of China Academy of Engineering, member of China Academy of Medical Sciences, vice president of Capital Medical University, president of Beijing Institute of Brain Diseases and director of Beijing Plateau Adaptation Research and Rehabilitation Center, delivered a video speech for the conference. Dong Xuchao, assistant researcher of Children’s Hospital affiliated to Capital Institute of Pediatrics, presided over the inaugural meeting of the branch. More than 100 related leaders, experts, scholars and medical researchers from more than ten units and groups, including State Administration of Market Supervision, Beijing Integrated Medical Society, Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University, Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Capital Medical University, Beijing anzhen hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University and Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital, attended the meeting.

Speech by Zhang Jinxia, Party Secretary of Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital

Zhang Jinxia, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital, said that Xiaotangshan Hospital has always actively explored the inheritance and development of natural medicine, and strived to lead the new direction and new concept of hospital health service. Combined with its own advantages and characteristics, the hospital has launched a set of all-factor natural therapy system integrating hot spring hydrotherapy, forest health care, traditional Chinese medicine maintenance, medicated diet therapy, exercise intervention, artistic healing and physical therapy, and actively created a "Xiaotangshan model" for healthy China. "Xiaotangshan Great Health" is the banner of hospital health culture construction. It is hoped that by holding academic seminars, we can unite the strength of all walks of life, help the inheritance and innovation of natural medicine, and contribute to the road of "Great Health" with the spirit of "bravery, scientific truth-seeking, unity and cooperation, hard work and dedication".

Natural Medicine Branch of Beijing Integrative Medicine Society was established.

Zhang Yi, assistant to the president of Beijing Integrative Medicine Society, director of the Secretariat and Media Department, read out the approval of the establishment of the Natural Medicine Branch and held the awarding ceremony. After reviewing the list of members and on-site elections, one chairman, 11 vice-chairmen and one secretary-general, eight deputy secretaries-general and 14 standing committee members were elected. In addition, 9 consultants and 26 think tank experts were hired. Jianghua Zhu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Xiaotangshan Hospital in Beijing, was elected as the chairman and secretary-general of the Natural Medicine Branch, and Yang Shi, the former director of the Comparative Medicine Center of Peking Union Medical College, served as honorary chairman. The meeting also announced the emblem, anthem, vision, mission and values of the Natural Medicine Branch of Beijing Integrated Medical Association, and launched the "Natural Medicine Health Science Popularization Charity Tour" activity.　

Natural medicine health science popularization public welfare line started

Jianghua Zhu, the new chairman and secretary-general of the Natural Medicine Branch, made a work report. He pointed out that the Natural Medicine Branch will build a scientific and technological innovation model of "scientists, entrepreneurs and physicians" and "Industry-University-Research’s use" based on the research and application of natural medicine to promote the high-quality development of health care. Focusing on the concept of "five services" to serve the country, society, government, industry and members, the branch will focus on "ten aspects" of popular science propaganda, scientific research, achievement transformation, consulting services, group logo formulation, academic exchange, professional training, book editing, platform establishment and collaborative innovation.　

Ji Xunming, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, pointed out in his video speech that natural medicine has its unique effects in anti-aging, health care, disease treatment, rehabilitation, improving mental state, improving immune function and delaying the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and tumors. It is hoped that the development of integrated medicine will promote the rapid development of national medicine and better serve the strategy of healthy China.

Ye Xiaomin, member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Beijing Municipal Health and Health Commission, pointed out in his speech that the establishment of the Natural Medicine Branch conforms to the trend of the times that people have a strong demand for natural, green and environmentally friendly medical methods, and provides a good platform for the research, practice and promotion of natural medicine. It is hoped that the natural medicine branch can adhere to the principles of politics, science, standardization and integration, uphold a scientific, rigorous and honest attitude, standardize industry behavior, strengthen self-discipline management and ensure the healthy development of natural medicine.

The first keynote report meeting of natural medicine academic seminar on "Xiaotangshan Great Health" was presided over by Lin Yun, chief physician of Beijing anzhen hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. Jiang Yue, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital, gave a report on the core concept, medical characteristics, practical significance, research direction and development trend of natural medicine with the topic of "Being a pioneer practitioner of natural medicine", and shared a series of natural medicine practices and achievements of Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital in combination with the advantages of environment, resources and policies, hoping that the natural medicine branch can gather the strength of all sectors of society and make contributions to the innovation and development of natural medicine.

Rao Benqiang, deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Special Medical Food of the State Administration of Market Supervision, gave a report entitled "A New Theory of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment: the Law of Conservation of Metabolic Entropy", and innovatively put forward the Law of Conservation of Metabolic Entropy, sharing the research results of adjusting or interfering with the metabolism of cancer cells by changing the structure or composition of dietary nutrients, and the pathogenesis theory of metabolic entropy change of tumor deficiency and toxin, as well as the practice of realizing healthy aging for 8 weeks through "methylated diet and lifestyle change plan"

Wang Peng, the chief physician of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Capital Medical University, presided over the topic report session of the first "Xiaotangshan Great Health" natural medicine academic seminar. Li Fengyun, chief physician of Henan Provincial People’s Hospital, Liu Liqiang, deputy chief physician of Beijing Institute of Brain Diseases, Jingang Dai, researcher of Medical Experimental Center of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ge Shaoqin, former dean and professor of College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Hebei University, gave keynote speeches on functional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine treatment of adrenal fatigue, application of remote ischemic adaptation technology in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, introduction of traditional Chinese medicine and its application in rehabilitation of chronic diseases, and inheritance and innovative practice of traditional Chinese medicine. The first round table of natural medicine academic seminar on "Xiaotangshan Great Health" was presided over by Chen Gang, vice chairman of the labor union of Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. Representatives from many support units shared the practice of promoting natural medicine.

Jianghua Zhu, the new chairman and secretary-general of Natural Medicine Branch, concluded that the development of natural medicine has a long way to go, and all sectors of society need to continue their efforts, strengthen cooperation, and promote new breakthroughs in natural medicine at a higher level and in a wider field. Subsequently, the first standing Committee of the first session of the Natural Medicine Branch was organized.
